After decades of experience, we decided to start Med City Installation in April of 2019. Our goal with every customer is to exceed your expectations in every aspect of the installation process. From planning and narrowing down which floors a customer want, to professional installation of quality products, Med City Installation aims to make the process enjoyable and the results outstanding. We stand behind our work, and if the customer isn’t happy, neither are we, and we will do everything in our power to make it right. We have met some wonderful people since starting the business and look forward to meeting many more as our journey continues. Med City Installation is the only Woman/Minority owned flooring installation business in the area.
As a natural caregiver, Darcy decided to get her CNA and HHA Certification just after high school and then went back to get her Medication Administration Certificate to further enable her in her desire to help others. She spent more than 15 years working in group homes, nonprofit organizations, nursing homes, and assisted living communities in the Rochester area as she raised Lexis. The connections she made with the people she met as a TMA forever changed and inspired her, helping her to approach life with more appreciation and determination. It was always Darcy’s aim to be a good role model to her daughter and instill in her a sense of community and initiative. When she isn’t working, she’s spending quality time with her family away from the business of the city, and enjoys going on weekend trips to places such as museums, zoos and scenic areas.
Darcy is also a member of the NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction), the AWC (Association of Women Contractors), and the Bloomberg Mayors Challenge.
